Quincy’s, a long-held chain of family restaurants in the Southeast, was known for its thick steaks and hot, buttery yeast rolls. In fact, the rolls were so beloved by customers that the chain created an animated character called the “Big Fat Yeast Roll” to use in their advertising. Kevin was tasked with transforming the charmingly drawn character into a live personality for TV and radio. The late Phil Hartman from Saturday Night Live and multiple films became the unmistakable radio voice for the Big Fat Yeast Roll.
