Meet Kevin

Kevin’s first job out of college was selling t-shirts on tour for Barry Manilow. That led him to LA and stints in foreign publicity for Universal Studios, production at NBC, and writing for the Hollywood Reporter, where he became editor of special issues.

Eventually, Kevin left Los Angeles and returned to his native Atlanta as a freelance copywriter for agencies large and small, including BBDO, West Wayne, and Gray. His work included print and TV campaigns for HUD, Grady Healthcare, Travelport and Mannington Floors, among many others. He also began his ongoing 20-year collaboration with Ballard Designs as their primary writer, developing the company’s brand voice, catalog, online and retail copy, and producing dozens of videos.

In 2011, Kevin co-founded Big Table Agency, a branding, advertising, and marketing boutique. There, Kevin created multi-media marketing campaigns for Georgia-Pacific, Carr Workplaces, Budget Rental Car, and Emory Healthcare. He also helped lead the successful rebranding of Piedmont Healthcare System, including new logo design, TV, radio, print and outdoor.
